We wanted to be able to experience Katherine Gorge from the water and from the air. With limited time we decided it was best to fly down to Katherine. Kookaburra Air put all that together into a magnificent day. All connections for the day were organised from Darwin Airport to Katherine then off to the helicopter ride up over the gorge and transferred to the river cruise to see the incredible gorge from the water. In between we were guided by our pilot Ben up to an amazing viewing platform above the gorge. The whole day was spectacular & memorable with the assistance of Leisa, plane pilot Ben and helicopter pilot Harry. Highly recommended.Posted on Google

His knowledge of the area is fantastic and we got the added experience of being delayed for fighter jets to land in Katherine. James South31 July 2024We had an amazing day with our pilot Jordan at Kookaburra Air. Enjoyed a scenic sunrise flight from Darwin to Katherine for a helicopter flight over the gorge which was amazing. Flying on to touch down in the magnificent Kakadu National Park, before boarding a boat cruise along the spectacular Yellow River and seeing all of the wildlife fauna and flora it has to offer. Vern Williams5 April 2024We had a wonderful day trip to Kalbarri. This way of seeing to beautiful sights of the park as well as the town and its beaches made so much sense. It might cost more than driving from Perth, but it is a great day trip and includes a tour guide. All of the persons at Kookaburra Air were friendly and professional. It was very special to be able to visit Wave Rock, the Pinnacles and Rottnest Island all in the one day. Eliot went above and beyond, offering to drive us back to our Perth hotel which we greatly appreciated. A top tour. Highly recommend it.
