Katherine Gorge Waters Tour

See the Top End’s Katherine Gorges with an air, water and ground tour through the stunning landscape. You’ll see the spectacular gorges, as well as the ancient, spiritually enchanting outback of the Northern Territory. After a spectacular scenic flight from Darwin and over Katherine, experience a cultural cruise through the winding gorges followed by a return flight to end the tour.

Itinerary:

0630 – Arrive at Kookaburra Air – 3 Lois Lane, Darwin Airport
0645 – Depart on Scenic Flight to Katherine
0815 – Arrive at Katherine Airstrip and bus to the Gorge
0900 – Depart on a Cultural Cruise through the Gorge
1100 – Cruise arrives back at Dock
1215 – Lunch or time to relax around the Gorge.

A true departure from the ordinary, your journey will begin with a compelling flight south to the breathtaking Katherine Gorge. You willugged Aussie Outback, the Adelaide River, Darwin River Dam, and Pine Creek. After taking in the landscape views, the scenic flight will extend over Katherine Gorge itself, giving you an all-encompassing view of its grandeur and brilliance pass over the r.Land at Katherine Airport and take an awe-inspiring 2-hour boat cruise through 2 gorges, where you will be able to take in every remarkable aspect of the Katherine Gorge. Upon your return take a moment to relax, and enjoy a lunch and beverage (lunch and beverages not includec in the base price) or take a hike along the cultural walk trail and experience the natural landscape with its spiritual and cultural heritage.
